I love this post, and agree that apologies should always be from the heart and meaningful. In fact, I’ll wager that most people can see through insincere sentiments, and that does more damage than the original “infraction”.

Seeing things from another’s point of view, although not easy, is critical in establishing mutually beneficial, trusting relationships.
