PIVOT

In each of our lives, there will come a time (perhaps more than one) when you must pivot – make a huge change from the life you’ve been living.

Getting married, divorced, having children, changing jobs, retiring – those are the biggies.

Smaller pivots can include starting a new diet, joining a new gym, taking up a new hobby, following a new band, adopting a pet.

All pivots, large and small, are opportunities to reinvent who you are, even if it’s just a minor adjustment. Each adjustment is a chance for you to get closer to becoming the person you want to be, or who you need to be at that point in time.

Changes can be scary and anxiety-inducing – we get comfortable in our lives, enjoy our routines, don’t want to rock the boat. Change is inevitable though, and embracing it, being open to new experiences, trying on a new persona, can bring healthy new wiring to your brain and a fresh perspective on life.

You don’t have to be the person you are today for the rest of your life, why not try upgrading to you 2.0 and see what you see?
